Community Design Center of Minnesota receiving the 2009 Sustainable St. Paul Award for Water Quality or Conservation
Recently the Community Design Center has received the following recognition for our programs:
- 2009 Sustainable St. Paul Award for Water Quality or Conservation, awarded by the City of St. Paul.
- 2005 Junior Ranger Award from the National Park Service presented by First Lady Laura Bush to our East Side Conservation Corps members for their work at the Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary.
- 2005 Take Pride in America Public/Private Partnership National Award from the U.S. Department of Interior for the Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary's extensive community partnerships that demonstrate outstanding commitment to the stewardship of America's public lands and natural and cultural resources.
- 2005 City of St. Paul and the St. Paul Garden Club Blooming St. Paul Awards:
- Golden Bloom Gardening Advocate Award for being an outstanding advocate for gardening in St. Paul
- Silver Bloom Award for an outstanding community vegetable garden at 3rd Street & Maria Avenue
- Silver Bloom Award for creating outstanding environmental raingardens in St. Paul
- 2005-06 Renewing the Countryside calendar recognizing organizations promoting the growing and marketing of local food.
- Special recognition at the Ramsey/Washington County Watershed District's 2005 annual meeting.
- 2004 St. Paul Garden Club award for enabling young people to learn about gardening, food, and nutrition.

- 2004 St. Paul Neighborhood Honor Roll for appreciation of outstanding contributions to the quality of life in the neighborhood, recognized by the District 4 Community Council.
